Disappointed
When I first started using the item it worked great, but after using it for a couple of weeks I couln’t increase or decrease the volume, it would shut off. I had to turn my ipod off and turn it on again for it to work.
Apple went Sour
I purchased the headphones a month ago. Everything seemed great. The price was right, looked new and shipped quickly. Two weeks into using them they I went to turn up the volume and they would turn down. A month into owning these headphones they don’t even play music. I’m back to square one.
Dont even think about It
Only one ear bud working now I’m in Afghanistan or I would have all ready sent it back!!!!
durable
Just wanted to say I accidentally dropped the earphones into a pile of soiled clothing and it went through the washing machine. I thought I had ruined them, but I tested them out and THEY STILL WORK!

Bootleg?
Center button did not work to activate voice controle, yet would work to progress through tracks. The back of the headphone jack was not constructed in an apple fashion. Even if it was apple’s new design, there would not be excess rubber material attached.
Great Prodect
This is the real deal. it says the mic does not work on ipod touch. but i gussing that it means 1st generation because i have the 2nd generation and it works fine. the original color is good. but they are hard to keep in your ear. you just got to find the right place for them to rest. but in all i do reccormend this prodect.
These are crap…
When I received these in the mail, the mic feature didn’t work. By the second day, the remote’s volume control stopped working. Two weeks later, I stopped getting sound out of the left channel. I took good care of these headphones, I’ve owned apple before and been thoroughly satisfied. My last pair worked great for almost a year until my cat got a hold of them. These were cheap… But it’s obvious why. Still a waste of money, I somehow don’t believe these were really made by apple, or if they were, that they were new. Either way, don’t waste your money.
Can’t skip forward or backword
Headphone works as does the mic but as far as the remote you are limited to volume up and down and pause and that is it. Was dissapointed because i thought it would be the same remote that ships with the Itouch 3g but it is not.
Fake, Phony, NOT APPLE BRAND
These came with a sticker placed on them with some kind of printed SKU number.. Definitely not something Apple would do. The microphone part does not work with either my iPod Touch 2G or my iPhone 2G. The sound quality from the ear buds is terrible and there is a buzzing noise when there should be a bass sound. Also, they feel very cheap and the wire is somewhat rubbery.

Everything is wrong with these. Price, sound quality. But most importantly, FAKE!
Beware of sellers using the Apple name to sell cheap knock-offs. If you are considering buying these I would recommend looking at some less expensive alternatives.
Disappointed
I bought a pair of these, hoping to take advantage of voice memos and voice apps on my ipod touch.
I got a pair reasonable priced, and they shipped really fast.
When I received them the microphone did not work (tested on 2nd gen and 3rd gen touches). Later they started becoming “phantom headphone” and would change the volume of my music without the buttons being pressed.
I contacted the company and they sent out a new pair at no charge, and I was able to keep both pairs.
The second pair worked the same as the first, minus the “phantom” part.
Its been over 30 days since I purchased, and I wasn’t able to get on here, so I’m sure I can’t return them now. Oh well, I’ve now got two pairs that are long enough with music controls. Too bad the microphones don’t work.
Don’t work
I by a earphones with microphone to can make calls from my I pod,but the mic. Don’t work so I just can used as a regular earphones.
Good Buy
So basically these earphones are pretty good. They are definitely worth the 20 dollars. The only issue I had with them was the 2nd day of having them, the sound was going from ear-bud to ear-bud, it sounded kind of weird.. But it was one time and has not happened again… and it wasn’t awful… They are good quality earphones and they feel legit.
great deal for the money, but try not to stress the wires…
These Apple buds work great. The previous ones gave out after 14 months. I played it at 9 and 10 volume. I think I stressed the wires by tugging on them. They easily get caught up on straps and you need to secure the wires so they don’t get tangled.
Just like the ones in an actual Apple Store
These headphones are the simple headphones and even though they’ve gotten half and half reviews I still love them! They came in the same box just like the Apple Store too!
Good service
The item is OEM product. The first earphone I received broken in a week then they send me another one last for a few day. I fixed it by some super glue. It still working. Audio quality is about right. No comment and don’t bother to ask for another one. You paid what you got.
Frustrated with the Quality of the Earphones
I have ordered two of these – one in mid 2009 and again another in early 2010. On both, the remote shorted out after about 6 months. (and it is not that I used the headsets in the rain or got them wet). Given I have now had two with same issue, it seems like there is an inherent quality issue. I don’t expect them to last forever, but I also don’t expect to have to re-order every 6 months. And I am only using the headsets 1-2 times per week for at most a couple of hours at a time. Otherwise, when they do work, the functionality and remote convenience is nice
contacted user mic didnt work, never heard back!!!
I contacted the user immediately when finding out my microphone was defective and doesnt work and got no response at all!
I reccomend not buying from this user the OEm Shop! It was a waste of my 16$ the microphone fro my Iphone does not work at all! The headphones work great! I am Pissed that the Seller ignored my request for an exchange or refund!
Too short
Very annoying that they’re 6 inches shorter than the stock headphones. Otherwise, they seem okay.
Not original earphones
These headphones are not the original apple headphones, though advertised as such. The quality is obviously inferior.
Would be way better if they lasted
This is the second time in 9 months I am replacing the headphones. They are wonderful but, no matter who careful you are, the just don’t last. Apple really needs to work on that.
