Comfortable
These headphones have excellent sound quality. They make the bass sound great! All around these headphones are great and they do look expensive
Decent; You get what you pay for.
I’m a very frugal person as I’m on a college student’s budget. I bought these thinking they might provide good low end response, but sadly they really don’t. As the other reviews state, these are ‘open’ type headphones; you can very clearly hear everything that’s going on around you and don’t provide good noise isolation. This can be useful if you want private audio but still be able to hear if someone approaches you, for instance.
The design itself is not that bad. Definitely not high-end. The earpieces are a bit small and round, not very comfortable at first, but the headset itself is actually quite lightweight. After a short while it’s easy to forget you’re wearing it. The one thing that redeemed this to me was the responsiveness. Everything sounds very life-like and crisp, if a little bit colored. The highs don’t overwhelm what you hear, either, which is nice.
As my title suggests; you get what you pay for. That adage always annoyed me, but in this case it’s quite true.
Bottom line: Good for the money.
I got more than I payed for, but not the BEST
I payed $22. I think these headphones are easily worth $30.
Not the best ever, but they have a great price.
I have used these headphones with a couple different MP3 players and my record player mixer. I just don’t quite get the bass that I would expect. Other than the lower bass levels, I was impressed.
Solid design. I have had them for over two months and no problems. I have even stepped on them a couple of times.
I have a HUUUUUUGE head and they still fit GREAT!!
Not worth the money
I have used Behinger products before, and they have been high quality, so when I saw these headphones at an affordable price I thought they would be high quality like their other products, however, I was wrong.
I was not looking for anything high end or elite (I have some Bose headphones and a pair of Sony DJ headphones) but something for listening to/mixing music on the go when I do not want to take an expensive pair with me.
These headphones do not fit snugly or comfortably on the head, and with any movement you feel like they are going to fall off. The low end is virtually non-existent, there is way too much of an emphasis on treble with these. (I even tried various EQ settings, and with the bass all the way up it was just noticeable)
These feel rugged, and overall seem like the are a solid pair of headphones, but sound is what matters the most and these just do not have any quality at all. I returned these the same day that I bought them, and will be looking for a better inexpensive pair.
Very satisfied
I use these headphones for listening to music in a noisy office environement and am very pleased with them. The sound quality is great. They are comfortable enough to wear all day long (not something I can say about earbuds or other, cheaper headphones). They also block a lot of the ambient sound. I don’t know how they stack up at DJ headphones, but for the price they are great casual listening headphones.
GREAT headphones for the price!
The main thing I love about these headphones is that they are LOUD!!! I have no problems hearing them when I am on my dj gigs. They are actually much louder than the Sony’s I used to have that broke on me and I replaced those with these Behringers. They look cool as hell too. For the price, I got way more with these headphones that I thought I would. I am very happy with this purchase!
wrong
these headphones suck i have only had them for a week AND THEY already
one ear peace is out
Excellent sound with inexpensive price tag
The sound is more than acceptable, I find little distortion or uneven sound with these headphones. The earpieces are comfortable and the set fits securely, and it’s sturdy even though it’s lightweight. I’ve had these for a year and find them to be durable and am happy with the performance. No reason to give less than five stars – obviously I wasn’t looking for a professional (i.e. costly) option at this low price, just some nice headphones to use with the ipod and computer.
Superb quality & sound for the money.
Needed a new set of headphones after my 6 year-old Sennheiser headset started shorting out. I actually purchased a set of Sennheiser HD-205’s but returned them due to the sub-par sound and uncomfortable design. I found a link to the Behrhinger HPX2000’s, noted the favorable reviews and the amazing low price and decided to check them out. Definitely a lot of headphone for the money. Sound is amazing and they are super comfortable. They do tend to allow in a good bit of background noise for a pair of over-the-ear headphones, but it isn’t too bad. If you’re looking for sound isolation or noise-cancelling, you’d be better off with something else. Quality & sound-wise, these are $100 headphones with a $20 price tag. Definitely recommend these!
Great head phones they seem to hold up for its price
These head phones seem to be very durable. the make is very strong and it delivers, im a producer and these head phones for its price give you some good solid sound. They deliver slight noise reduction from the outside and as for picking up low frequencies it does deliver. I needed head phones with a good range and this has it, its only been a week since ive had these head phones but while put against some other popular names like pioneer and Sony which are even more expensive it it holds out great… very low distortion nice range and sturdy comfortable feel i give this head a 5/5
Excellent Deal! Highly Recommend
This is the first time I have done a review on here. I have to say these headphones are the best ones I have ever owned! The shipping was extremely fast and I am loving the sound quality as well. These will be great for hip hop and rap that has some bass in it, The construstion is very strong and you can turn the headphones out so you can listen to your music without it messing up your hair. take for me, I have a mohawk. If you are a DJ or you just want some headphones with some power for a good price. You should get these! You won’t regret it.
Buyer Beware!
I originally purchased this product based on the price and the higher rated reviews. Sometimes things just don’t work out as planned. I received them very quickly, but when I was able to see them up close I immediately regretted my purchase. The materials appear to be of the lowest quality. The headband is uncomfortable after just a few minutes. The ear pads while appearing to be thick and comfortable, are hard and allow the phones to rest directly on the ear. The pads have no cushioning or noise canceling properties at all. The sound is flat. The highs are tinny and the lows have no punch. It’s like listening to music underwater. To top everything off, the left channel stopped working shortly after plugging the headphones in. I am attempting to return them but the seller won’t accept returns on opened merchandise. Please don’t make the same mistake I did.
Noise Isolation and Rattle
These headphones aren’t too bad for general listening purposes. But if you are looking to escape the world by immersing yourself in the music, you may want to look at a different pair. Maybe I just received a faulty pair, but the only way I could block out external sounds was to press both ear cups tightly to my ears (and I could still hear what was going on outside). I also noticed a rattling sound in the right ear when sound peaked. Hopefully, that was just an individual issue with my copy.
Overall, I wouldn’t buy these for DJ purposes.
Great headphones, relative to the price
These are nowhere near the quality or experience you’ll get with $100+ headphones. But for the price, they are a fantastic deal. They are still very good quality, nice cord, and super great sound for casual gaming (what I use them for). The earcups not only rotate on the vertical axis, but they also swivel horizontally for a good seal (most headphones at this price point don’t swivel horizontally). Even though they are an open air design, they don’t disturb my wife. However, this makes them cooler than closed earcups. As some other reviewers pointed out, they are on the large side. But I have a big head, so they are perfect for me. If you have a small head or want to get these for your kids, then move along.
The only negative for me is the round earcup design. These don’t completely cover my ears like oval earcups would, so they get a bit uncomfortable after a 2+ hours where they pinch my earlobes.
Decent
Read the reviews and was convinced these were worth the purchase. They weren’t…
The three major issues with this product: 1. Bass doesn’t punch deep enough. 2. They aren’t nearly loud enough. 3. They don’t clamp to your head tight enough… at all.
Not a bad set of headphones for 20 bucks, but def not DJ quality and def not going to give you the bass if your looking for it.
Horrible…
I just received these the other day and there absolutely huge. VERY loose fitting, cheap plastic construction and horrible sound. Hopefully I can dump them on Craigslist because it will cost me more to send them back. VERY DISAPOINTED!!!
You get what you pay for
This is a very low quality item. Sound from one side only, right out of the box.
Good Product for the price!
I really liked these headphones. They look good and the sound is right for a lower priced set. They are really big in person so watch out for that. Overall, I am pleased.
A deal, but poor build quality
I bought these as a cost-effective way to start my dj setup, They worked wonderfully for a few weeks, but now the headphone jack is messed up. When plugged in the whole way, sound quality is terrible, and there is absolutely no bass response. They still work, but only if I jimmy the plug out about a quarter of the way, not the best when you’re trying to rock the house.
For $30 they sound better than I expected, but I wouldn’t buy them again.
good deal
like them a lot but they do not handle bass all to well and they can get a little hot on your ears but over all nice buy
