Cheap cheap cheap. Sound is decent. Bass is lacking. Foam ear covers are cheap. But can’t beat the price. Got these for our young kids to use on road trips. They can beat them up and if I have to buy them again next year, fine.

Thank you! I am wearing them right now, as I type this. I bought them for my Sony Walkman and they work well. They do have deep bass tones. I like it :) The price was great and the packaging/shipping and delivery all went super well.

ok so i bought these and the first pair sucked so i had to contact the seller and they were so understanding that they sent me another pair, BTW thank you. These are really great hedphones though despite the first pair i got. they are nice and loud like i like. i think people should buy these because you really cant find these like you use to; i cant find these where i live. its like there extinct now :) I love these

thank you for my order. these headphones work great and have the best sound I have heard through a headset

I find it hard to believe some of the low ratings on this product. I paid $3.15 delivered. I was amazed at the quality for the price. I expect the foam to deteriorate over time. I expect to break the fine wires inside over time. I was very impressed with the quality of these headphones Amazon sent me for $3.15. Best Pair of $12.00 Headphones I ever bought for $3.00

I love this headset and it’s such a deal for $5. I have several of them placed strategically around the house to use with the laptop (much better than speaker sound) and another for my iPod. Whenever one breaks down (something like 2 to 4 years or more) I simply get another. And I order it with other stuff to get free shipping as well. I save the foam ear pads off of a discarded one as they are hard to come by and expensive; so I get spare parts as well when I get a new headset.

I’m no audiophile but I certainly have no complaints about the sound quality. Sounds full and rich to me. Much, much better than the the quality of my laptop speakers.

I just bought these awhile back and I’m very pleased with them. The sound quality is excellent when I use them with my Desktop PC listening to music. The cord is a little short, but that’s ok.

I hope I can take care of these and make them last awhile. I’ve broken all of my previous sets of headphones I’ve owned in the past, some of which I paid up to 20.00 for.

hopefully, these ones will last awhile, but if they don’t, I will buy these ones again! They’re worth every dollar.

if you want something that will last please do not buy this item. the little earmuffs will rot. i had these for a month or 2 but the ear muffs rotted off.

I fell and I broke these headphones and ordered them again. They are inexpensive and work great

It’s cheap and you get what you paid for – it works for a month, then loses all of its power. I recently spent more money in bigger, better headphones (just under $30) and hopefully it will last for years.

I needed something to get an order over $25 for free shipping, and this did it.

I also needed some cheap headphones for my 6 yr old, and these fit the bill perfectly.

While they are not the greatest, they sound decent for what they are.

I even got 5 free MP3’s from Amazon for ordering them.

This headset is most certainly not the best out there in terms of quality. However, if you are just looking for a pair of earphones to listen to music, videos, etc. this does just fine. If you are an adult it should fit just fine. However, it swamped my two girls (3 and 5). The sound quality is just fine. For the price it can’t be beat.

the coby headphones are very cheap, and I’ve seen some stores try to sell these for 10 dollars, right out of the box they only work on one side, and to get the other side to work you have to hold it a certain way, their super sensitive to moisture, and the cuffs can easily be damaged just by wearing them, these phones are worth 30 cents, anymore is an outrage, don’t buy these.

For the price, these Coby CVH42 Lightweight Stereo Headphones are very nice. They also match the color of my computer (black and silver). I didn’t expect the sound would be so great, especially from the foam covered earpieces. I had thought that the surface of the earpieces might be contoured and padded until I got them in my hands. It turns out that they have perfect sound, without the contour padded earpieces. A GREAT FIND for me. I’m very happy with them.

I just purchased the headphones, about 3 months ago. Sorry Amazon.com, but I did not purchase them from you guys. I got them from a Retailer..I WILL NOT GIVE OUT THE NAME…

    Anyway…

I have no clue as to why you other people are “DISSING” or “Down grading” these headphones. I find them to be SOUNDLY PERFECT, in all ranges of sound frequency, if by any chance they will FAIL…Guess Waht?…I am gonna buy another set of them, from the same place.

    ALso…

If I had the chance to purchase these from Amazon.com…I WOULD!…But I chose not to do this, as to “SAVE MONEY” on shipping cost.

If your “PARTICULAR” set of these headphones are “FAILING”…Then…Maybe…you people need to look as to how you are “TREATING” the headphones.

In other words…Do you “TRASH” your car?…If you don’t then, why do you try to trash these headphones?…Use them respectfully, they will last a long time.

I have very cheap stuff, that I have paid “LESS THAN” the “NAME BRAND” or “HIGH QUALITY”…And guess what?….My cheap stuff is ACTUALLY OUT LASTING THE NAME BRAND OR HIGH QUALITY stuff…Good example..I have a VERY CHEAP VHS tape video recorder and a High Quality Name Brand model. The cheap one is still working after 12 years, the name brand is in the garbage dump or A.K.A. Land Fill…It died after 4 years…

So the answer to my story…

Treat your stuff with respect, and it will last a life time………

This is a great little set of headphones. They are light weight and easy to wear. I listen to books with them day after day and have never had a problem.

I bought this to use with one of my mp3 players as a backup set. Well just like my other pair of Coby headphones, the plug doesn’t fit right and if you don’t hold it just right only one side works. Cheap but Cheap!

I was at the library one day and asked reference if any of the

computers had headphones. She pulled out a pair of plastic bagged

headphones, brand new, and offered them to me for $5. She

smiled and said “you could use whatever computer you want then.”

    They were Coby CVH42.

I brought them home and they are better than some I paid four times

more for. I am sitting here as I type this, listening to a Baroque

radio station on iTunes. Music sounds great.

Spend $60 and up, but these are great for just some computer

    stuff e.g. iTunes, YouTube etc…………whatever.

The only draw back is the cord is not very long. I pull it out

    constantly.

Com’on folks…let’s be real here. The Coby CV-H42 headphones may have decent sound for a pair of cheap headphones, but com’on…they’re only $5 or less. I’ve tried them on a non-amplified computer monitior at work, and they sound decent. The bass is average at best. If these have a 40mm driver, then I’d hate to hear what a smaller one in a Coby set would sound like.

I’ve also tried them on my at-home 5.1 amplified PC set-up and they distort way too easily. The bass distorts at almost the slightest bit of bass.

And I concur with those who say that it’s a roll of the dice to get a good working pair, as the left-speaker in my set is a bit weak.

I mean let’s face it…these are some pretty cheap headphones…if you want a cheap, but great sounding pair of headphones, you better look to a set in the $15+ range. Take for instance the KOSS KTX-PRO 1 Titaniums for $18 here on Amazon. They’re sold for upwards of $45 at retailers like Radio Shack. And from all the glowing reviews, they’re a hellava set of headphones.

I gave this set 2-stars only because they’re decent for a cheap pair, but for audiophiles, stear clear.

Do not buy this one. I bought this because i had to compensate for a few dollars to be eligible for free shipping. This product did not work at all. I threw away the headphones, as i couldn’t get it replaced.
