I’ve had these ear buds for quite a long time now. (almost 3 years) I’d have to say these are THEEEEEE best one’s I’ve ever owned! I used to purchase Sony ones in the past and they would only last about a year max! (terrible..I know!) Creative’s EP 630s are AMAZING. They produce great sound quality, have very comfy ear buds, and have NEVER broke!! I am definitely purchasing these again (if I happen to lose them) and recommending them to friends. =D

This is the second set of headphones I have purchased, this pair is mine, I gave the other to my husband. It really keeps the surrounding noise from filtering through. It is perfect to tune out the kids when I am listening to a book or music. These are a perfect match for my Creative Zen. I sit back, relax and listen to books with no interruptions.

    It is wonderful!!

This is the second set of Creative EP-630 headphones I’ve bought in the last 90 days – I attributed the early demise of the first pair to a factory problem or maybe over-use…the same thing happened with the second pair after less than 30 days – the right earbud sound is diminished by about 50%, then it completely dies. Will think twice about purchasing Creative products in the future.

These are great headphones! The brand came with my computer when I purchased it and I have never bought another brand since. I’ve had just about every other type of headphone (costing in the $10-$45 range) and these are the best. The sound quality is awesome, they don’t fall out of your ears, they are reasonably priced, and they are 100% comfortable.

These headphones have great sound. Great bass and they fit in my ears great. You can barely hear whats happening around you with these on. In my opinion these sound better than the Skullcandy Ink’d.

+ Great all around sound. Unless you’re a sound engineer I’ll doubt you’ll find much difference between this and much, much more expensive headphones.

    + Surprisingly powerful bass

+ Fit into ears perfectly; very comfortable

+ Pretty durable. The material of the cord refuses to kink, which is great

    + Surprisingly good noise-cancellation

    + PRICE

Yep, can’t come up with many cons to this product. At the price, it’s almost too good to be true.

This is a great product for the money. Sound is terrific. I gave a 3 star for durability when my cat easily chewed thru the very thin wires.

While I almost never listen to music, I often use my laptop to watch films and TV shows or to play video games, sometimes in the car and on airplanes, so I needed headphones, but didn’t want to spend a fortune. In these earbuds I found exactly what I was looking for. I was primarily seeking headphones that could block the noise of cars and planes but were small enough to be carried in my pocket. These headphones are great. I have the volume on my computer almost as low as it goes and can still very clearly hear everything on the headphones no matter where I am.

What I didn’t expect to find but got anyway was the richness of the sound quality when using the earbuds. When using these earbuds for films, you truly feel the depth of the sound in each scene, creating IMAX quality sound on my little laptop.

On top of the great sound, these earbuds are very comfortable, far more so than full size headphones or non-noise isolating earbuds. Standard Ipod headphones don’t fit in my ears very well, but the various sizes of buds included with these earbuds allow them to fit comfortably.

In closing, I would recommend these headphones to anyone looking to watch films or TV shows on the go, no matter how much money you are looking to spend.

I recently picked these up during a sale for $15. At that price, there’s no denying that these headphones are a great bargain. The sound is surprisingly good, which decent bass.

I’ve had two pair of this particular model of headphones. This product has a life expectancy of about 18 months with my lifestyle as a college student. I’ve accidentally yanked these out of my ears multiple times while slinging my school gear around with my BlackBerry on my hip or falling out of my hands while listening to music, on the cross trainer, and wherever else I might be listening to tunes, like the library or waiting for class. I’ve rolled them up around my fingers and jammed them into my backpack a lot more often than I ever put them into an earbud case to carry around. I’ve left them in my car in 100+ degree south central Texas heat and my cat has attacked them on occasion. I’m sure storing them in a proper case might have prolonged the life had I been more gentle, but for $30 or less, 18 rugged months of quality sound is a great value.

    * Silicone buds fit comfortably in ear for long periods of time. Put them in and forget that they’re there.

    * Noise cancellation is good enough that you shouldn’t need to crank the volume all the way up on your music player/smart phone, although when you do, you’re in a world of your own.

    * Cord is soft and flexible, making it quieter than the stiffer cords of lesser quality products.

    * Product is as tough as Chuck Norris’ beard.

I must warn, however, that there are knockoffs floating around online auction sites for under $10 and they are complete garbage next to the real deal. Buyer beware. Purchase only in retail packaging and not “OEM” packaging. I made that mistake once, and I’ll only buy these from Amazon from now on.

This is a great pair of headphones in general. The sound quality is very good and they’re comfortable to wear. I’ve been using them for about six months and there has not been any issues with them so far. A few reviews say they wear out after about a year but so do a lot of headphones. These headphones are very easy to carry around and fit in ears well without sticking out much. I would recommend them.

This is an excellent product. I lost my old pair and ordered new ones. These are THAT good. I won’t settle for anything else. The EP-630s are the perfect in ear headphones. The lows are deep, the mids are good and the highs are done well too. If you want these headphones for rock, acoustical or basically any music, these will do. You WILL be satisfied with these. I own a pair of Z-5500s by logitech and these are like mini versions in my ears. Of course the bass won’t shake stuff off your walls but the volume and quality is there.

I’m an avid CLASSICAL music listener, as well as the opposite of the spectrum: METAL.

I went everywhere and spent from $10 to $100 on the Monster Turbines. And while the Turbines are great for classical and acoustic music (the highs are pretty high and the sound is crisp) those suckers suck when it comes to metal. The sound was empty when it stood the true test of music…

SYMPHONIC METAL, this means listening to opera, piano, guitars, and drums in the same song.

And the 630’s take good care of boasting a good base, very nice trebles, and the soundstage is beyond incredible. Music comes alive with these, even finicky music like classical music, acoustic, hip-hop and symphonic metal.

I have never been a big fan of ear buds, as they usually don’t stay in my ears very well. These have made me a fan. Since they come with two different sized gel molds, I discovered that the smaller ones fit great. The sound quality is great too. Nothing more to say.

I have tried several different headphones and keep coming back to these. The price is right, the sounds is good – both low and highs. I use these over my much more expensive Shure’s because they sound nearly as good and I won’t mind if I was them (again). They take a licking and keep on pounding.

The right earphone doesn’t work, never has. At all. Hasn’t since the very first time I tried them. If they both worked, I’m sure I would love them because the sound that I do get out of the left one is good, and they seem to be pretty comfortable.

    $30 down the drain.

You have to push them into your ears a fair amount to get decent sound, and I had to mess with my iPod’s equalizer to get it to sound decent after that.

Also I bought these 4 months ago and the right side speaker stopped just last week. I’m not buying these ones again.

I am writing this review as I am replacing my current set of these headphones. Every headset I have ever purchased has lasted me about a month. I have tried several brands. If you have a problem keeping headphones alive, I recommend these. They don’t give the professional quality audiophiles enjoy, but its the best for its price tag ($17 currently). Like it says in the title, the previous has lasted me over a year and let me tell you I am MEAN to my headphones. One of the speakers went out today… it’s how all my headsets die… I’m sure the next set will survive just as long.

For this price bracket, it’s definitely one of the best in-ear headphones you can buy. Very good sound quality, but the inserts themselves seem rather flimsy. Overall, a good buy.

I got these somewhere else for a fourth of the price, but the sound of these is marginal. For any bass you must have a good seal in your ear canal or it will be awful. To hear any bass I have to turn them up louder than i want and then the treble is too loud and is screeching. The bass is just not there with these, and I have a proper seal with them and put in far enough.

They do isolate noise very well which is why I needed these, and durability seems good so far for the 4 months I have had these. To prevent noise from cables while walking, I have attached a clip from my handsfree phone headset, which keeps them snug from bouncing, or you can drop the cord down your shirt out the bottom- good to do with any earbuds

**Update- based on my knowledge of transducers, these have them and there is no “burn in”- they still sound the same as the first day so don’t expect any improvements. Skullcandy inkd earbuds were amazing from the start, which have just replaced these
