These headphones have good sound to them, but there are two problems that pretty much negate the quality of the sound in this product.

First, these buds WILL NOT stay in your ear. Unless you keep your head very still, the buds end up falling out very easily no matter how hard you try stuffing them in your ear. They tend to pop out slowly as your are using them, and then just fall off. You might think this is not a big deal, but for me it got extremely annoying after the 50th time it happened.

Secondly, the buds were not very solid in construction. I lightly used them for a couple months before the plastic cap on the left bud came loose and would hang there by the earphone wire. At first, it wasn’t that big of a deal because I could just press it back into place. After a couple weeks of doing this though, the entire cap came off and the wire broke.

Decent quality in sound, but the construction and design is so off that I would not purchase these headphones.

Perfect in almost all the stages but it’s uncomfortable sometimes to jump with them, sometimes thy fall to fast form your ears! Just that otherwise they are AWESOME!!!

I was very pleased with this earbuds. The sound quality, comfort and style are top notch. I would recommend this for any one.

Bought these earbuds as a way of replacing my Apple earbuds and at first I was really pleased; they were more comfortable than other noise cancelling earbuds I’d tried before and the sound quality was a lot better. That was a few months ago, then recently the sound went out on one side then on both. Not awesome, guys. So before my earphones broke, I was pretty into them; after, not so much.

I wear these when I’m at work. I do a lot of moving around in ATVs, and these headphones really help cut out the noise. Are they going to outdo big, ear-covering headphones? No. But they’re earbuds, so you get what you pay for. My only complaint is the bass. It’s not that it’s too low, it just seems off to me. Not a big deal though, I still think they give great sound quality. Much better than stock ipod headphones, in my opinion.

These are very comfortable to wear even for long periods of time. I was very pleased with the great sound the produce! Great product for a very reasonable price!

sound quality is great especially with the sound cancelling feature due to the silicone buds. i wear them while i work/exercise outside a lot so i occasionally have to adjust the buds to fit in my ears when i am moving around. other than that, i have no problems and very satisfied with the product since it was a very cheap price.

    I could not believe these

About 5 years ago I had a pair of buds with an mp3 player, they hurt and weren’t that good. I got these along with a pair of noise canceling Sony headphones to replace my falling apart Bose headphones. This may sound crazy, but I think these Jbuds sound better then both for a fraction of the cost. They are also pretty darn comfortable.

These are most definitely worth the cost.

I was looking for a pair of earbuds that A) was comfortable, B) sounded good, and C) was at a reasonable price. These JBuds met those criteria!

When I was searching, I saw these and the price looked right and the reviews were pretty good, so I figured I’d try them and have not been disappointed. When I first got them, I knew they met my comfort criterion as I was able to wear them for a couple hours with no discomfort like I get from standard earbuds.

Initially, the sound was not quite as good as I’d hoped, but as I had read in some of these reviews, they need time to burn in. They sound better after the burn in period. The volume was a little lower than some other earbuds, but that is a good thing when you factor in the noise isolating and the fact that I don’t need to turn it up so loud as to have hearing loss anyway. :)

There are going to be some people that don’t like them, but I think a lot of people will. I definitely recommend them.

The sound quality of these earbuds is nearly perfect, which makes them the best value earbuds on the market in my opinion. The only weakness of these earbuds in my opinion is that they don’t fit too tightly in your ear because of their shape, so they aren’t as comfortable as my previous earbuds. I haven’t found a perfect set of earbuds that I can afford, but these come as close as possible.

this type of earbud-style headphone requires a snug fit for optimal sound quality. however, the design of the headphone housing prevents a comfortable snug fit. if you can get them to fit in your ears the sound quality is fine, not as much bass as some sennheisers i had previously. the construction is pretty durable. the junction where the single cord splits into two headphones is annoyingly large. for the price, these are a decent set of earbuds, definitely a step up from ipod headphones. my only complaint is the fit.

The sound is okay, fine for spoken word but not great for music. They noise isolation is significant but not enough to prevent fatigue on a flight. they’re comfortable for an hour or two, but not very long term. I would not buy them again, but I’m not replacing them. My wife’s senheisers (about the same price) are significantly better in every way.

I loved the way they looked, great purple color and they are relatively comfortable, good sound cancellation. They were a good upgrade from my original ipod earphones…until they stopped working well a month after I bought them! I was so angry because I take good care of my electronics, and I turned my ipod on one day a month after receiving them and I have to turn the audio jack to find a spot where the sound comes in fully and it doesn’t stay constant. The sound is horrible now and I have to replace them. I don’t know if this is common or a fluke, but I am very disappointed.

I bought these after being tired of lugging around my heavy noise canceling headphones. I was happy at first to have lightweight headphones that reduced environmental noise by a lot. Then I used them for a few months and the right ear bud just died on me. They were okay while they were working, but unfortunately I have two ears.

Probably would avoid these for now…

The headphones are decent for the price, but unfortunately it muffles out a lot of music to add that “sick bass” which kind of ruins all of the songs because you can’t really differentiate all of the different sounds, ups and downs, etc. unless you really turn it up all the way. I don’t really like doing this because I use the headphones on the bus and I find it somewhat rude when someone cranks up something I don’t want to listen to.

Even with hip-hop/rap it really muffles the beats except the bass. For any rock type music, it’s pretty much terrible.

On the plus side, since they go in your ear they’re pretty comfortable. I had been using headphones that go on top like the iPod headphones which ended up hurting my ears after prolonged use, but these don’t really do that to me.

The pro- the headphones are pretty comfortable, and I don’t really prefer earbuds. The Con- one side works perfectly, one side works halfway. So the audio always sounds like it is in mono, and is really loud in one ear.

sigh. the hunt for reasonably priced decent ‘phones continue.

i got the jlabs j2 earbuds roughly a month ago and in that span of time they were great….that is until one day i couldnt hear correctly out of both of them….then the next day i couldnt hear anything….this is unacceptable. If this is the normal lifespan of this product than i seriously would not recommend them to anyone

Pros: Comfortable, strong design, AMAZING bass, good looks, and noise isolating

Cons: Long earbud makes lying down uncomfortable and muddy mid-tones and highs

Use for: Long car/plane trips especially with noisy people, bass heavy genres, or workouts (earbuds stay secure in ear and have reinforced y-splitter)

Don’t use for: high tone heavy genres or sleeping

All in all i was satisfied with my purchase even though i listen to mainly post-hardcore and other genres in the mid-high range

I have been using the JBuds for several weeks now and am very pleased with the comfort and sound quality. I find the noise reduction quality to be very good also.

The units come with 3 different sized ends to fit your ear and for the first time I have a set of ear buds that fit perfectly.

I find the sound quality to be very good and better than any I had previously purchased – I have purchased in the mid-price range.

I would recommend these units and at the price of the JBuds, it would be difficult to purchase something equivalent at the cost.

Nothing spectacular, but they do what they should and they are very comfortable to wear. Good sound quality, good noise isolation. There are different sizes of buds provided, too, which is quite handy.
