I bought these at Wal Mart for only 8 dollars a while ago. I have small ears so earbud really hurt my ears (not to mention that ear buds aren’t good for your hearing). But I didn’t want the bulk of the headphones with the headband.

When I found these I thought they were perfect. They are. The sound quality is great. It does leak sound but I really don’t worry about that because I don’t listen to music very loudly. After a long while they do hurt my ears. That’s really not a huge problem because I don’t listen to music for that long.

I only have two problems with them. The cord gets tangled really badly… but what headphones don’t? The soft cover on the speakers comes off after a while. I lost both of mine and was unable to put them back on. But they did last a long time — I’d tell you exactly how long but I can’t even remember when I bought them.

    Great headphones for the price!

I purchase them so I can listen to books on CD while riding the motorcycle.

    These are the best!

I tried in the ear ones (several pairs) and they either pull on the ear too much or simply fall out.

Panasonic headphones are light and fit great. They are designed to fit in the crook of the ear without pushing too much.

Sound quality is great for my need. Low and high tones come over them good, no sound is distorted.

For under the helmet it is very important not to cut off all the sound, but direct enough sound in the ear, and these headphones do it great.

I would highly recommend these headphones. I tried other ones 5X the price and they are not as good.

These are the best headphones I’ve ever bought. The sound quality is amazing, and they fit snugly without pinching my ears. Very comfortable for working out.

These headphones are great so far. I use them for jogging and also on my bike commute. They are loud enough that I keep the volume near the halfway level on my Zune. The lightweight plastic body, clip and cord probably won’t last forever, but they are super-light and comfortable to wear (i.e. I can ride my bike with both sunglasses and headphones on for an hour and not have my ear lobes go numb). Easy to put on and take off. The headphone connector is angled, which is nice. I go through about 1 set of similar headphones every year, and these are some of the best. But I certainly don’t expect them to last a lifetime.

I have gone through 2 pairs of these headphones in 6 months. The wires for the headphones are very brittle and break easily, even with just using them, but you get what you pay for.

I love these headphones. They are very comfortable to wear, and, unlike earbud headphones, I don’t have to put anything inside of my ear to listen to my iPod. They’re also very secure, and I can do pretty much anything without worrying that they’ll fall out. The sound quality is also really good. This is a great product at a great price.

I have owned this headphone only a few days & can’t tell you how thrilled I am that I actually went to WalMart (last resort) & found them. My husband will go back & buy more for me…I do not want to be without.

After years of reading reviews of various headphones, being assured various ones will stay in my ears, even another brand like these…I think I’ve hit the jackpot with the Panasonic SlimZ headphones. The others just didn’t stay in my ears, or they were uncomfortable.

I do sleep in them, I listen to audiobooks & they do a good job of putting me to sleep. So every night I plug these babies in & hit the snooze button…listen to Dick Hill or someone else & go to sleep…the MP3 player or CD player cuts off soon & the headphones stay in place & are very comfortable when I turn on my side.

My TV is Panny, my stero is Panny, my DVD player is Panny…now my headphones are Panny. Looks like a brand to keep.

These earphones are really good. They are comfortable, secure, sound great, and look high tech and nice. I got these when my dog chewed up my apple pair. They are really nice and cheap. I also workout with these and they stay on great. Also when running, stay on great. Only bad, head phone jack is L shape which I personally do not like. So, there you have it. Great overall earphones.

I had bought theses headphones somewhere else and knew I like them but here the price was great. I would buy more if he had them.

I purchased my 1st pair of these headphones from a store more than a year ago. After 10 months of severe abuse i found myself needing a new pair. These phones are light weight and sound like a really expensive pair of headphones. After months of looking in countless stores I found them here on Amazon.

The design of these earphones is very comfortable, they doesn’t cause any kind of pain in your ears, they don’t bother you at all although you wear them all day long.

The sound is very clear. Not any kind of noise even when volume is high.

PERFECT EARPHONES AT VERY GOOD PRICE!!!

I just received these headphones today and was a little skeptical when I first opened the package as I thought they were kinda on the cheap side and were going to be a bit flimsy. I tried them on and plugged into my iphone and became very pleased with my purchase! they are great! they feel great and fit snug against my ears. I ordered last week after reading some of the other reviews and especially paid heed to the idea that headphones are kinda disposable in the sense that they tend to last about 1 year…after reading that, and reflecting on my own “headphone history”, I realized that they are right and so I decided to purchase these head phones and test them out. They were on sale for $6.95 (5/2010)…so if you can wait for these headphones to drop down in price, it is worth the wait.

Starting about six years ago I embarked on the quest of finding good, portable sound reproduction. I’ve chewed through everything from the oft recommended Koss KSC75s and Portapros to the top of the line $400 UE Triple.fis. I learned a lot along the way, most notably that due to the thinness of cords, plugs, and connectors used on portable headphones, that whether you spend $20 or $200 they will last about the same time under the same usage pattern. So, after spending over $1400 over these past six years, after all those hours of research, all those models, etc., these approximately $10 wonders are my mainstay go-to headphones.

I use my iPod on the go a lot, as in multiple hours a day, every single day. What I have learned is that the average lifespan of ANY portable headphone, regardless of cost, under my care and usage patterns averages around 6-9 months. I’m not rough, far from it, but the amount of cable flexing that takes place under that many hours of use (as well as the nigh inevitable occasional snag on a door knob) inevitably results in a failed headphone cord sooner than later.

For the money, clipons are the best portable solution I have found. It’s just much easier to make a decent speaker driver at the scale of a clip on than it is at the scale of earbud or IEM. I’m getting comparable sound quality from these $10 clipons as I got from over $100 ATH-EC7 earbuds, the best sounding earbuds I ever found, as a comparison.

These clipons are lightweight, comfortable, and fit very well for non-strenuous activity (as one previous reviewer noted, they are not for jogging, but that pretty much goes for all clipons without an adjustable clip). It takes many hours on my ears before they become uncomfortable, and by then I ought to be taking a break from listening anyhow. The sound quality is excellent, maybe not UE triple.fi or ATH-A900 excellent, but those are headphones that cost around $300 (and in the case of the A900s aren’t even portable), and these slimz cost around $10. Because they’re so cheap, I keep a spare set unopened in a drawer ready to go at all times; they’re just a fantastic deal in my opinion.

Some people have criticized the cable, this is an unfair criticism for the price. These pretty much have the same quality cable as almost all sub $20 portable headphones on the market (and the ones that don’t have this style cable are usually worse). They tangle no more or less than any earbud, IEM, or clipon I’ve ever used, and I’ve used a lot of them.

Last, I want to address some of the misconceptions in some of the reviews about these headphones: Yes, they leak sound, so doesn’t every single open driver headphone in the world. Yes, they let in external noises, so doesn’t every single open driver headphone in the world. Headphones come in four basic types: open cans, closed cans, earbuds, and in-ear monitors (or IEMs). In general, open cans provide better sound quality for the same money as other choices. They don’t keep out external noise, and they do leak sound to your surroundings. They’re not good choices for noisy environments or where you will disturb coworkers if you play your music loudly. However, these are not flaws as it is inherent to the design. If you need to keep out external noise when you listen, then what you need is some sort of IEM or full sized closed cans. If what you really need to do is avoid leaking sound to your surroundings, what you need is something other than open driver based headphones.

Comfortable with decent sound. I use these primarily for plane travel when inner ear earbuds start to hurt on prolonged overseas flights.

These might be OK for around the house, but they feel loose and are cheaply made. They do not feel secure when running, and as mentioned in other reviews, allow a lot of noise/wind in and out, which probably wouldn’t be good for public use either.

Overall, wish I’d bought a different pair…I have a similar type (clip over ear) of Philips headphones and prefer their fit and design much better.

Sound is good. It is not easy to get these

headphones onto my ears. They are very light

    and moderately comfortable. They are

    however a GREAT value.

Headphone construction quality is fine, but sound quality is really bad. Background buzzing noise is loud and when in a quite room, it’s louder than I can stand! Panasonic failure!

I’ve been using these for over a month and I will be replacing them. They were a good temporary and cheap pair of headphones.

    Pros: Cheap, good sound, comfortable.

Cons: Cord tangles really bad (it’s that cheap rubber that likes to stick to itself, jack is L shaped, leaks sound like no other headphones I’ve owned.

These are the specs I’ve found on the web:

    14Hz – 24kHz frequency response

    28 OHms
