Best $5 I have ever spent. I should have bought 2.

They are great for listening to late night Micheal Savage talk radio.

    I highly recommend.

I give this headphone 4 stars, mainly for the price. It’s clearly not a 4-star headphone, but for the price, it’s definitely worth it.

Amazingly, this $5 headphone has better bass than a $40 pair of headphones I got last year sometime. It’s the best bass you’ll find in a headphone this cheap, guaranteed. I defy you to find better!

The actual sound quality is ‘ok’. It’s very low power. If you’re accustomed to listening to your music on volume 12, let’s say, you’ll need it on volume 14 or 15 with these headphones. However, when you do, it gives a nice rich bass sound, a below average mid-range and a below average treble.

Like I said, for $5.20 and free shipping (thanks to Amazon Prime) this was a no-brainer, and maybe the best $5 I ever spent on headphones. This is a spare set, for when I forget my other ones (I have 3 headphones). I lose headphones and sit on them or break them so often, it’s nice to have this one around.

But in realistic terms, if you’re rating this in terms of sound, regardless of price, I’d give these headphones a 2.5 out of 5.

Bought these as a gift for my dad because he does not like ear buds. He said these sounded great. Plus they were cheap!

I was looking for something simple that worked well.I’ve been using these headphones for about a month and so far this pair has held up.

I bought these along with some Sennheiser HD 202’s for my first real headphones. While these are not HD 202 quality headphones, and certainly not as powerful, they are pretty darn good for $5. The main problem with these headphones is that they don’t get very loud, and they get distorted at high volumes. This isn’t a problem for regular home listening, but they don’t work well on airplanes. However, they beat the Sennheisers in comfort by a mile. You can wear these forever without any problems. They barely put any pressure on your ears and work great with glasses. I’ve fallen asleep with them on twice. They seem to be pretty durable too. You could probably snap them easily if you tried, but you can throw them in your backpack and they’ll be fine. Overall, these are probably the best headphones you can get for around $5, and I would recommend them to anybody.

This review is for Panasonic RP-HT21 Lightweight Headphones with XBS port for increased bass response. Sound is fine for cassette audiobooks, which is what i bought them for. But i don’t use them because even when adjusted short as possible, the earphones fall about half-way down my ears, which makes them pretty uncomfortable. Also, loose. I am 5′7″ adult female with average head size.

These headphones are great. For the price point, the Panasonic headphone offer great sound quality for the price. They are not the best in terms or sound or quality but the sound is one the best under $20 and offers surprisingly decent bass and balanced sound, the quality is decent but seems like eventually will wear out in a couple months which is completely reasonable for the price, at which time when one could purchase another pair. I highly recommend them. I have had no issues with them yet.

I purchased this item based on the reviews and the extremely cheap price. I did not expect this pair of headphones to sound great. However, when I tried it out with my iPods, the sound quality was amazingly good. I could hear more sounds clearly than with the earphones from Apple. The bass response was good: I didn’t even need to adjust the equalizer on the iPod to get good bass response. Even with the iPod’s equalizer turned off, the sound was clear and pleasing. So far, this pair of headphones beats my other headphones in sound quality.

The construction of this product does leave much to be desired. It seems to be on the fragile side. However, we must remember that this is an inexpensive pair of headphones.

Overall, the product is worth more than its price.

Very inexpensive. Great to use while exercising (if you sweat a lot it won’t matter.

Excellent sound for this price. Not the best, but I got it for $4. including shipping. This is really what Chinese headphones should sell for anyway, but don’t. Remember, even at this price they’re still making profits or they wouldn’t sell them.

After my favorite headphones bit the dust, I decided it was finally time to get a new pair. I tried and tried to search for my favorite style but they were hard to find. I don’t like earbuds and I don’t like those headphones with the puffy foam on them. I opted for this pair because of customer reviews and pricing. When I got them I was surprised at just how lightweight they were. They’re just a smidge big on my head, even adjusted to the smallest size, but still do-able. Unfortunatly, on the first pair I got the left ear didn’t work. Considering that this was the problem with my old headphones, I was not happy. Amazon was great with the exchange and sent me a replacement pair – overnight! The second pair have worked just fine, though I try to be careful with them since they are lightweight. I use them for listening to music on my iPod/iTouch excersing and riding in the car on trips, and the sound is really nice. For heavyduty use they may not last a long time, but hey, at this price, who cares?

I think the sound quality is very good – very clear and natural sounding, with adequate low end. The cord length is a bit longer than usual, which is nice. They could be slightly more comfortable, but they are by no means uncomfortable. I think the main thing about the fit/comfort is they are a little tight, and the ear pieces are a little narrower front to back than the Panasonic headphones I used for years. I’m certain they will losen up with use. They pivot in two directions, so they should fit just about anybody. You really can’t beat these for the price. I’ll probably buy one or two more pairs as spares.

These headphones were a gift for a 96 yr. old woman in a nursing home so she could listen to her radio/CD player without disturbing others. They help.

Wow! I LOVE these headphones. Had I known I would like them so well I would have gotten 2 more sets–I’ve tried expensive wireless noise-cancelling headphones (too much static), ear buds (hurts my ears), other brands of headphones (didn’t last long)–and I’ve got to say The cord is long enough for my needs. The earpieces swivel but were not too “delicate” for my use. I’m tickled to find these headphones!

These headphones are great for public displays of sound projects. They are inexpensive and of sufficient quality for gallery presentations of projects involving sound: soundpieces, sound videos, etc. I have purchased four of them for various projects and have had no bad experiences with themPanasonic RP-HT21 Lightweight Headphones with XBS port for increased bass response.

i was frankly shocked by these headphones- the sound quality is amazing, considering the price, and they’re well-constructed and comfortable to wear. They just blow the white, ipod headphones out of the water- no comparison at all. The only con for me is that the sounds from the headphones leak out into the air, meaning these will probably be good in busy settings, but not so good in a library or office setting.

These are the best pair of headphones I have ever used. The sound quality produced by these headphones is great, partly thanks to the bass response of the headphones. The headphones are also comfortable, although I’ll admit it took me a bit to get used to the different feel of them compared to my older headphones. The area around the jack seems to have been reinforced well, which I hope will prevent the headphones from shorting out and causing only one of the two headphones from working.

I would definitely buy this product again.

I have had half a dozen headphones before — not expensive ones — but ones from a typical $10 to $30 range. And in some weeks, all of them developed some problem or the other: either cord developed loose contact, one of the speakers broke, the headset piece broker, or some became just inconvenient to use long term: they were too tight, or hurt the ears or cord was too short.

So to end these problems for once and all, I went onto Amazon to buy an expensive set of headphones — $50 to $100 range — thinking atleast then I will have a set of reliable headphones with good quality sound.

Then I saw this model in the search results — at the price of $4 — with good reviews. I thought — let me give this one try — just one try — its so cheap it wont harm… And I did. I ordered two of them — they were so cheap. This turned out the best purchasing decision I have made for such a thing.

I was surprised when I received them – they were very comfortable, cord was the correct size, smooth on the ears. Sound quality was good too! I thought maybe these wont last — they cannot — at such a price.

Its been several weeks now, and I am so happy with them that I *had* to come online and share my thoughts with others!
