    Tech for less: 5/5

ETA was between the 9/21 and 9/27, they had it shipped and sent and recieved the 21st.

    Earbuds: 5/5

Bass: You can adjust the bass and they are deep smooth sounds with no cracking. Great bass :)

Sound quality: Very good, can go loud without cracking, very good quality. I might be no audiophile but I have many years of experience with music and these are great quality and probably the best bang for the buck.

Comfort: Once you get them in they are fairly comfortable and fit nicely.

    I would highly recommend these.

These earbuds are my favorite. They work as ear plugs and ear phones at the same time. I put them on when mowing the lawn, weed wacking, and at the gym among other activities. They are fantastic at blocking out external noise, and the sound quality is as good as any ear phones I’ve ever had. I feed the wire from my pocket, up the inside of my shirt, and onto my ears. Sometimes I forget I’m wearing them. My last pair lasted almost 2 1/2 years. When this pair stops working I’ll buy another pair.

I am just about to throw away my second pair of these earbuds. The first lasted several months and after awhile, I could only hear out of one side and the wiring became exposed where I would daily slide the little plastic piece that keeps the cord together up and down. I bought a new pair in a different color out of desperation because the store didn’t have any others that would fit in my little ears (iPod headphones kill me, for instance). My second pair is now doing the exact same thing. I guess you get what you pay for. I for one wish I had purchased a $50 pair that would actually hold up.

I bought these for a great price because I’ve always wanted a pair of in-ear buds Skullcandy headphones. I was not disappointed with these!

I recommend you read the previous reviews, because they point out a lot of useful information about some shortcomings that may or may not affect your decision to purchase these.

These do fall out of your ear easily with movement, and if the headphone cable gets hit or tapped you can definitely hear it through the earbuds.

The sound quality, however, is amazing, and the bass is very powerful and prominent in these headphones. If you can find the right size of the ear tips to fit your ear comfortably, then I would definitely recommend buying these. They are sound-isolating, and I’ve found that with my volume at the lowest level and only one headphone in, I can’t even hear a person talking next to me!

In the days since I bought these, I’ve noticed a lot of fluctuations in the price, so if you want a certain color, keep checking back. The day I bought these, they were $9.99, but $10.99 the next day. Now, almost a week later, they cost $19.95 (although from a different seller).

If you can, I’d recommend purchasing from Richmond Wholesalers. They gave me a great price, free shipping, and I received my package 3 days after I bought it. Great service! :)

As always with Amazon, the merchandise was exactly as advertised and this sub-vendor performed quite well. These headphones are the third set I have bought, not because of failure but for convinience. I have a set in my office, a pair for outdoors activities and at work. Great sound, durability and comfort!

I had skull candy earphones before, and I loved them so much that when they finally broke I knew I wanted another pair.

These are the best earbuds ever. I always avoid earbuds because of bad experience with the ones from apple, but these fit very comfortably in your ears and stay in. I was mowing the lawn with these on and I couldn’t here any noise from our zero turn, the music blocked it all out. These are a must have for your ipod.

I was looking for a replacement set of headphones for my ipod to use at the gym. These met my criteria. In ear and cheap, simple as that. As a matter of fact, I ordered two pairs. The sound was good quality and I liked the fact that I could block out the noise of the gym. They were comfortbale and came with adjustable plugs so you can tailor it to your needs.

My only gripe with them is that the poor quality of the cord. Both my pairs cords were damaged after a couple of weeks of use, specifically at the connection where they plug into the headphone jack on my ipod.

I suppose if they were used in a normal setting with a little more care, they’d be a perfect fit!

The product’s cords conduct friction when you move around and transfers to ear. Not very good for working out and running and such.

I like the fact that they gave me different sized earbuds to fit my ear. When I put it in, it doesn’t exactly fit sometimes and it falls out. When it gets really close to the ear drums, you can only hear the music and the outside world vocals seem to sound weird and you can hear your own breathing and everything.

I bought this older version of Skullcandy’s Ink’d earbuds several years ago, before I knew much about audio products or how good quality audio should sound. However, from the moment I opened the package, the sound coming from these earbuds was unbearably tinny, and lacked bass of any kind. It is possible that I simply purchased a pair of earbuds that slipped through Skullcandy’s quality control, but either way, I have moved on to better quality audio products.

I am happy to report however, that the latest generation of Ink’d earbuds (Skullcandy INK’D Earbuds (Blue) have much better sound quality.

I bought a pair of these and for about 3 months they worked great. Then one of the earbuds stopped working. Thinking it just was a fluke I bought another pair because the sound in this really is great. Then the same thing happened in about 2 months. They work great at first but I dont think they are worth 20 bucks since they burn out in a couple months. I guess I’m gonna have to find a new brand.

I only kept them for 30 minutes before I ended up returning them. The sound quality was horrible. The music had a very hollow sound. Very similar to someone being on their cellphone, but you can tell they’re in the bathroom, or going through a tunnel. Now there is a little button on the earbuds that when pressed the sound quality improves, however once you let go the sound quality diminishes. Also the buds didn’t fit in my ears now matter what size earbuds I put in.

These headphones are simply amazing, no questions asked. People say there aren’t L and R markings but there are in the back of the earbuds under the large skull (printed small). The noise it makes when you touch the cord is not loud at all and only a minor distraction when running or doing a physical activity. The buds themselves create a tight seal and overall very comfortable and stylish.

I bought one of the the headphones because i really liked in ear and they worked great for about 4 months. the right headphone randomly stopped working while i was on my run and so i had to return them and i got a new pair. and about 2 or 3 months later the same exact earphone stopped working again! and i take care of my headphones. i have two friends who had the same problems and had to get a whole different brand. i would not consider buying these headphones.

I love love love my skullcandy ear buds. The sound is great. The noise reduction works so well that it even eliminates airplane noise. I have used them everywhere from sitting around the house to working out at the gym. They have never fallen out while working out and They are super comfortable. I tried the much more expensive iPod brand ear buds but they didn’t last a year. I have had these little guys for 3 years and they are still going strong. Not one complaint about them. They even come in cute colors :)

The earphones look and sound great. They come with three interchangeable ear bud pieces, so they also fit comfortably for a time. I’ve been wearing them for about 2 and 1/2 hours today and my ears are starting to get sore. I’ve also noticed that if the cord rubs against itself, me or something else the sound transfers into my ears. This could just be the nature of noise-canceling headphones, but I still found the rubbing sound to be REALLY loud and somewhat distracting. They work fine for sitting at my desk or on metro, but I don’t think I would use these for exercise.

These are an improvement over the original iPod headphones because they do a great job of canceling-out noise. On the other hand, I found the iPod headphones to be much more comfortable.

These are such great quality with a great price! I ordered these to match my ipod and they don’t sell this color in the stores. I was using other headphones while waiting for my new skullcandy’s to arrive and it made me realize the quality in the sound that skullcandy provides. Just make sure you don’t wrap them around your ipod/mp3 too tight or the wiring will come loose and the earbuds will quit working.

Great earbuds for blocking outside noise, while still being able to choose to stay in tune with the outside world.

    Cons:

    1. The upper part of the cord rubbing against things = shuffling noise when wearing the buds.

    2. It may just be Florida and the heat, but after a while of wearing them, my ears get tired/ uncomfortable.

    Pros: ECONOMICAL

    1. Good quality for low price (considering I checked out J3M Buds,…min. $20 on ebay, also checked from JVC, Walmart).

    2. Look nice

    3. Good for jogging (don’t fall out unless pulled).

    4. Light weight

I need them for online lectures, listening in a bus/car or loud settings.

I’ve been using skull candy for a while, mostly for the bass and the price. For the price, they’re not bad. The bass is good and they keep noise out pretty well. They sound pretty “bright” though, and it’s kind of annoying. I’ve tried messing with the EQ on my device and so far I haven’t had any luck fixing it. They don’t last very long either. They usually go out within 6 months to a year if you’re lucky.

For the price, these are decent headphones. If you are looking for excellent sound quality and durability though, save up for a better quality headset. It’d be worth your while.

Well You get what you pay for!

At under $15, I wasn’t really expecting the world, but these things offer almost zero bass. Everything (even my flac files and other high quality audio files) sound thin and tinny.

I’m going to find a different manufacturer, these get a solid grade of “D” from me.
