For the price..great
This is a nice pair of ear buds. I have Monster ear buds and I paid $175 for those. The monsters are definently better. But if you need a good pair that is inexpensive these are great.
Not compatible with iPhone 4
Pros:
-I have always liked Vmoda’s sound quality
-The black fabric cable makes it more durable
Cons:
-The controls do not work with iPhone 4
-The microphone is really bad. Lots of people told me that they could not hear me well and that there was some weird background noises.
-The microphone already popped open. I’ve only had them for a couple months. The cable is strong but the microphone breaks easily.
Only lasted 2 months!
I was very happy with these headphones at first but just last week one of the ears stopped working. I know I only spent $25 on them but I did expect a little better quality. I am going down the line to Coby to try those out otherwise I am sticking to Seinheisser, they are great but about double the price at $50.
In summary, buyer beware of shoddy construction. I did not use these for anything more than walking 1 mile to work and sometimes using them at work as headphones.
Amazing headphones at an amazing price
these are a gr8 pair of headphones and at a gr8 price..
theyre very comfortable, look and sound gr8..
the level of sound quality would depend significantly on whether or not you get a good seal in your ear by choosing the right size of the earpieces to fit ur ear canal.
other reviews have stated that these dont last long but ive had my vmodas for almost a yr and they’re still going strong..it all depends on how u care for them..
not so perfect for an Android Phone
This headset is probably the best one in its price range. I really like the way they look (they are a bit “industrial” so ladies, if you want something “classy”, pick a different pair) and sound quality is decent. However “noise reduction” is Ok on the street but is helpless in a very loud environment e.i. NYC subway.
It doesn’t work “naturally” with my Android phone: every time I try to pause the music, voice control pops-up and I can’t resume music without re-entering the application. I guess I will have to work some more on the settings.
Avoid these like the Plague
As some others have written these sound great at first but they are NOT worth it. They will develop a short circuit in the plug after about a month of regular use. Then you’ll only get sound from one side. It’s happened to me with two different sets from different v-moda lines. To make matters worse, their customer service is terrible and will find any excuse not to honor the warranty. Save yourself the headache and find another brand.
Personal Review
I was happy with the new earbuds. The sound and clarity were great. I appreciated having the various size rubber buds, as opposed to the one size fits all that came with my iPhone. After a week or so, I ran into a problem with the earbuds. I ran over them. Bummer
Great…while they lasted
These headphones were great (comfortable, great sound quality, nice looking)…while they lasted. About 6 months after buying them, the cord (right at the mini input) wore down and they stopped playing in stereo (just mono)…which strikes me as annoying and cheap.
Great for the price and compatible with iPhone 3Gs
Mostly comfortable, somewhat lacks high frequencies, but you can make up for a little of this with the EQ. For the price ($19.99), you can’t beat it.
Good quality headphones for the price
They seem to be very well constructed with a stylish look with good sound quality. They are a little heavier on the bass which I like, but sometimes I would prefer a little less bass. But overall good! They are very comfortable and fit in my ear great. They don’t cut out sound completely, but I like that because I can hear if someone tries talking to me. Would recommend to anybody seeking a quality above average headphone for a good price.
Great headphones!
Until recently I had been using whatever earbuds came with my iPod, iPhone, etc. I was getting sick of the iPhone earbuds coming apart so I decided to spring for a nice set of these V-Modas. At first listen I was blown away. The sound I had been missing all this time just slapped me in the face. They sound awesome, the bass is great and the highs are crystal clear. I cannot recommend them enough for sound quality. I have owned them for a year and decided to buy some more as gifts they are so amazing. When I started searching Amazon for more, I noticed some reviews about build quality. I can say unequivocally that these are top of the line in the sturdiness department. Mine have held up perfectly throughout my s***storm of a life for the past year.
I highly recommend this product, especially if you are sick of the ubiquitous white earbuds. White is the color of sheep, after all.
Mine survived a ride in the laundry
So I’ve had these headphones for about 1 year now… I love them… sound is amazing. But the reason I came to write this review is because yesterday I pulled my headset out of my LAUNDRY DRYER… yeah, I had left them in my pocket and they had gone for a ride in the washer and dryer! Well I was super disappointed, I was sure I had destroyed them. But I figured I’d leave them out overnight and make sure they’re good and dry. After plugging them in today, I was amazed to see they still WORK! The sound remains fantastic. Furthermore, they’re really clean now… not that I would recommend this to anyone else!
Anyways, I wouldn’t have bothered with the review, but this amazed me…the high-quality, all-metal construction really payed off. I’m surprised to see several reviews here complaining about build quality, but there’s my experience, mine are bullet proof.
Comfortable, but doesn’t stay put
I was glad to find these headphones because they’re rated pretty well on [...]. The construction quality is really good and the sound and construction quality are pretty good. However, they fall out of my ears after just a few minutes no matter which size cover I use. I have to sit perfectly still, which includes not moving my jaw. Wrapping them around my ears barely helps. If it weren’t for that, I’d be perfectly satisfied with these.
Great sound, short life
These sound pretty nice, and they’re very comfortable, but some short circuit somewhere rendered them mono after six months. I might expect that if they cost five bucks, but…

It is another good product, that I bought through internet. I will buy one more.
Great for price
The sound quality and function of these are great. I wish they had the volume controls, but for $20, it’s not that big a deal. The only issue I have is that they don’t come with silicone tips small enough for my ears, and they’re heavy enough that they slip out when I’m running hardcore. I find myself constantly adjusting them. I may pick up a set of over-ear adapters for them but other than that, I love them.
worth every penny!
these headphones are definitelygood quality. the build is excellent and the sound is great. lots of bass and really cool looking. haven’t had any issues yet but its only been 2 weeks or so. i love em. can lose for $20!
Great ear buds!
Pros:
Great sound, perhaps the best set I’ve owned for my IPhone. This is my second pair (bought as a backup) and my first pair still work perfectly after almost a year and a half.
Cons:
The nylon insulation for the wiring is great, but is not effective at protecting the wires feeding into the ear bud itself. That said, if you are not too rough with them they you shouldn’t run into too many issues.

These are great; construction, reliability and quality are the best I’ve experience. They beat Apple headphones by 10X. I can’t go back.
Best earbud I have ever owned
I have purchased a lot of earbuds looking for just the right pair and I have finally found them. The v-moda vibe duo is the most amazing sounding earbuds I have ever owned and for the price it’s a steal. The sound quality is what I have been searching for all this time. I am going to buy a couple more pairs of these. Once again I will say the sound is GREAT for all kinds of music. I listen to Rock, Pop, Hip Hop and Rap and it all sounds great. If you are looking for the best pair of earbuds you can stop because you have finally found them.
